Our Eastcore Dream Team has been knocking it out of the park this spring, dreaming up and planning three amazing summer events: The Eastcore Shindig at the DeWitt Center on June 25th, a Family Favorite Potluck & Games night at Rosa Parks Green on July 11th, and an Eastcore BBQ & Giant Slip-n-Slide on August 1st.

Back in February Eastcore hosted an amazing “Brunch on the Block”, looking back at the last year of work and dreaming and looking ahead to what’s next. The Yards & Gardens group learned about native plants together and a great team of neighbors gathered at 14th Street Church for Spring Cleanup. In May, Linear Park received a lot of love as participants helped tend to the gardens for Community Impact Day. And Lori has been busy giving regular Eastcore history and murals tours to groups throughout the spring and continuing on into the summer.

Linear Park is also hopping! They have weekly gardening work days and social events happening throughout the summer - too many to list! Check them all out on the Linear Park page.

This year kicked off with a question, What do we think about the possibility of Columbia Avenue becoming an arts corridor for Holland? This launched an energized, year-long Columbia Avenue Arts Committee of local residents and businesses who are invested in building a proposal and path forward. We’re excited to see where it leads!

And, to top it all off, the Tulip City Walls committee is working hard to make the fifth and final Tulip City Walls Mural Festival 2026 the biggest and best ever! Mark your calendars for this amazing event on August 20-22th and please consider donating towards their final $70,000 fundraising goal to help them pull off all of the amazing work they would like to contribute to the Eastcore neighborhood.

All of these events and opportunities including receiving the monthly Eastcore newsletter and or joining the Eastcore Facebook group, visit 3-sixty.org/eastcore or email [email protected].

What a day at the Derby Gala! Thanks to the amazing generosity and support of our sponsors and attendees, we raised over $30,000 for our community-based work in Holland's neighborhoods. That's something we can raise a glass to!

Did you miss out on the gala this year? You can support neighbor-led transformation all year long by becoming a monthly donor! Recurring gifts of any amount help sustain our work day in and day out, and we're looking for 100 new monthly donors in 2026. To say thank you for monthly gifts of $15 or more, we're offering a special gift: a custom tote designed by local artist Blake Johnson, and printed by Silkscreen Marketing.

Give today at 3-sixty.org/donate!

Already thinking about next year? Mark your calendars for another race around Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 1st, 2027.

Thank you for betting on 3Sixty and neighbors who care!
