Friday night storms gave us a bit of excitement. Check out the video we caught of our tower in Dayton getting hit by lightning in real time (we corresponded the time of the video with the time the tower went down). A few pictures of the aftermath. This tower also feeds our Garden City and Creighton towers. Mother nature can be ANGRY!

Thankfully we have the best crew ever and they were able to get most things replaced and back online through the weekend!

We are an Internet Service Provider based in Holden, MO looking for a well-rounded person to add to our team. The best candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, well rounded usage of tools, and a burning desire to WIN.

This position is a good balance of carpentry/construction and IT/networking. If we had to prioritize one over the other, we would say carpentry/construction, as we can teach the IT/networking.

This is an onsite position based in Holden MO and the surrounding area, 40 plus hours a week. Please reference your place of residence in your resume.

General Skills Needed:

- Attention to Detail

- Self-starter, capable of researching and solving problems on their own

- Extremely organized, dedicated, and loyal

- Knowledge of how a house is put together

- Basic IT skills

Key/Specific Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Installation of Internet Service

- Can confidently drill through a wall in a house.

- Not afraid to dig holes.

- On site support calls

- Remote troubleshooting

- Basic network troubleshooting

- Data entry

Pluses:

- Can terminate cat6

- Know what an IP address is (and did not just Google it when you saw this listed)

- Programming Antennas for WISP’s

- Life experiences that are relatable to small town/country people.

- Knowledge of VOIP phone systems

- Flexible Schedule

- Any experience with fiber optic

Training and opportunity will be provided for the right person. We have a wide variety of equipment and software that will require a willingness and ability to learn.

Salary: $41,600.00 to $52,000.00 /year
