These little beauties have come so far!!!

Last year at this time, bonded sisters Vivian and Desi were at their devoted mother's side. While their 4 brothers had been rescued, they were too attached to mama Lucy to even allow us to get near them. When she fell prey to a speeding car, they were left alone -- outside, undersocialized, and desperate to find their beloved mom. We felt we owed it to Lucy to take care of her remaining 2 babies.

It's been a journey, but thanks to the generous heart of our friends at PAD PAWS Animal Rescue and then the loving, patient hand of a foster expert in socializing cats, the amazing Tab Calvitti, they are now sweet, playful, relaxed indoor kitties.

In fact, even though these aren't the best photos, you can see the change in their eyes -- from worry and sadness (left) to confidence and curiosity (upper and lower right).

Vivian and Desi are now ready for their forever home...together, of course (our other promise to Lucy). They're just over a year old, spayed, vaccinated, and healthy as can be. They love other cats and even dogs, but they especially love their wet food and treats.

Stunning, sweet sisters Zula and Princess had a rough start in life, but you would never know — that’s how affectionate and gentle these identical gorgeous girls are.

Both are spayed and have been given a clean bill of health by the vet—no diseases or health concerns. They are an easygoing, playful bonded pair, and they are looking for a loving forever home where they can continue their glow-up together!

As the proverb goes “teach a man to fish” or in our case learn how to trap! Neighborhood Cats hosts a virtual learn to TNR workshop every month. If you feed or care about the outdoor cats on your block the best way to help them is to spay and neuter. The workshop link is in our linktree in our bio.
