Hobe Sound Speedway is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated individual to join our team as our Race Director.

We're looking for someone who wants to make a lasting impact by helping grow go karting and inspiring the next generation of racers and their families.

The ideal candidate will:
✅ Enjoy being part of a youth focused racing program.
✅ Have knowledge and experience with motorsports and racing.
✅ Put safety first in every decision
✅ Be fair, honest, and consistent when enforcing the rules
✅ Stay calm under pressure during cautions, accidents, and weather delays
✅ Communicate clearly and respectfully with racers, families, officials, and volunteers
✅ Understand race procedures, flags, starts, restarts, scoring, and the rulebook
✅ Wave flags from the flag stand during all races
✅ Work closely with track employees and board members to keep race day running smoothly
✅ Be organized, dependable, and able to keep the program on schedule
✅ Welcome and mentor new racing families while promoting good sportsmanship and a positive atmosphere

At Hobe Sound Speedway, our mission is about more than racing. Being driven by speed and built by lessons, we're committed to teaching respect, discipline, sportsmanship, and responsibility while providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for every driver and family who comes through our gates.

🇺🇸 What a great way to finish off Independence Day weekend! 🏁

We had so much fun traveling over to Ambassador Racing School with our small group of Hobe Sound Speedway drivers who were available and eager to get some extra laps on a different track.

It's always a great opportunity for our drivers to gain more seat time, build their skills, and enjoy some friendly competition while representing Hobe Sound Speedway. We're proud of each and every one of them for their hard work and dedication We all had an awesome time and can't wait to do it again!

🏁 Now it's time to get back to racing at Hobe Sound Speedway! Join us on Saturday, July 11, for our final race before SUMMER BREAK. Come cheer on your favorite drivers, enjoy an exciting night of racing, and grab some great food from Top Tier Food and Catering LLC and Kona Ice!! We can't wait to see everyone at the track!

Today we celebrate our nation's independence and honor the courageous men and women who have fought and continue to fight to protect our freedom. Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and patriotic Fourth of July!

First off, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the Hobe Sound Speedway crew, volunteers, and parents who jumped in to help after the rain delay. Your hard work getting the exit ramp, starting gate, and track cleared and dried made it possible for us to get back to racing. We truly couldn't do it without all of you!

With the weather already causing a delay and more rain in the forecast for the afternoon, we made the decision to shorten the race program to one heat and one feature per class. Even with the adjusted schedule, these drivers absolutely delivered! As always, they put on an exciting show and gave it everything they had on the track.

A big shoutout as well to Top Tier Food and Catering LLC for keeping everyone fueled with delicious food while we waited out the rain and throughout the day. We appreciate your support and the great meals!

Thank you to everyone who came out, pitched in, and supported another great day of racing at Hobe Sound Speedway. It's the teamwork, dedication, and amazing racing family that make this track such a special place.
