So many Cabs, but I tasted them all…Napacalypse V started at Tusk Estates.

Napa came to the beach last night! Canard winery brought their estate-grown wines to a dinner hosted at The Links, Harbourtown Golf Course. We enjoyed The Rescuer, a Right-bank style Merlot blend, and The Throwback, Left-bank style Cab blend. Predictably, I loved the the tannins in The Throwback and my husband liked the smoother Rescuer. The rosé of Grenache was light and tasty, and walked the line of not being too sweet for me, but flirted with the bubblegum flavor he loves. And the rosé comes in a the most beautiful bottle—a phoenix-like nod to the devastation of the Glass fire💔
