Toes In The Sand

Just got back from a week on the island. It was a brutal one! Temps were in the mid to high 90's with real feel temps well over 100. Probably one of the hottest weeks in all the visits we've had to the island. Here's our week in review. Lot's of eating and drinking and very little beach time. 😁 Fireworks and an awesome lightening storm entertained us during dinner at Crazy Crab on Jarvis Creek with a torrential rain storm for the drive back to the condo to top off the night.. Beautiful sunsets at Skull Creek Dockside are always on our go to list. Spent some time at the new neighborhood place, The Bank. Top Dawg in Shelter Cove and the Shannon Tanner show never disappoints. The heat didn't stop the kids but we can't wait till our November visit!!!! Fall is our favorite time to be here.
