Game Knights Closing

No clever title, no beating around the bush and no final hour top deck to to turn it around.

with the saddest of hearts i have the task of informing all of you, our wonderful friends, family and customers that very shortly Game knights will be closing its doors for good.

we do not make this decision lightly nor had we intended for this announcement to come so suddenly. we were praying for miracles and planning for at least another month or two. to square out accounts, finish off a magic season and hopefully turn it around or give someone the time to take up the mantle of our wonderful community.

unfortunately a large sum of money went missing over pre-release weekend. while this was only the final nail in the coffin we were hoping to never fill... we are left with no other options and very little time.

ALL of you in the community have been so amazing. seriously amazing. you have made every 40-80 hour work week for less then no money feel like a dream job for over a year now. i have been truly blessed to be able to serve all of you. also i need all of you to know that this is not on you. there was a lot working against us but YOU, our patrons were never anything less then amazing.

our doors will remain open for as long as we can and as soon as we have a definite closing date we will let all of you know. anyone who has tickets or store credit please come in and use it as soon as possible on the unfortunately small inventory we have left.

events will be run as scheduled for at least the next week or two (except for this Fridays MTG draft, which will likely be standard) but again prizes will be what we have left in the store.

if there is anyone with a considerable amount of capitol who has considered opening a store and would like any help we can offer let us know. we have learned a lot over the past two years and would love to share that with anyone who might be better situated to own a game store in hilo.

as more details arise i will do my best to keep all of you up to date.

Hey there all you collectors out there!!!!!! To build up hype for the new set Game Knights is randomly giving away FOIL FULL ART HOUR OF DEVASTATION BASIC LANDS!!!!!!! (While supplies last) The for the first set of FULL ART HOU BASIC LANDS, one land of the players choice will go to the FIRST FIVE (5) players to signup and pay for at least 3 prerelease events. Other ways to obtain these FOIL FULL ART HOU LANDS will be revealed randomly as we get closer to the Prerelease so stay tuned!!!!!

All ye kings and queens, knights and nobles, Young, old or just the young at heart. you are invited to join us this weekend for an amazing weekend of Magic The Gathering for the prerelease of it's newest set Amonkhet!
Entry into one of the Five Tournaments this weekend is only $26 and the rewards will be the things of Game Knights fantasies!
on top of the tournaments we will also be giving out random door prizes and raffle drawings! beginners or champions will have an amazing time this weekend at Game Knights!
