Invited Back

Five years ago, I wrote: “The world is our classroom.” Back then, I was navigating distance learning with my kids in the middle of a pandemic: mom, teacher, counselor, nurse, janitor… you name it. Every day was messy, exhausting, and full of tears, but also full of grace.

Now, my daughters are growing into young women, and my son is stepping into a new season in a new country. The ache and the joy are still there, mingling together, reminding me that every season is a letting go and a leaning in.

The world is still our classroom. God is still the teacher. And we are still learning to walk forward with courage, grit, and grace.

As August winds down, I can’t help but pause and give thanks for the moments that will stay with me:
✨ Invited Back turning 4. Still celebrating that mix of cozy + professional.
✨ The start of a new school year (new experiences, fresh grace).
✨ Playing outside, reminding them they are worth it.
✨ Settling into new rhythms. Between what’s been and what’s ahead.
✨ Life requires maintenance, and I’m learning to show up for it.
✨ Planning for the rest of 2025 (big things coming).
✨ Conversations that remind me why I love this work—both with new friends and old.
✨ And always, the journey of reimagining, reinventing, and reinviting.

Grateful. Expectant. Rooted.
