Clay’s Auto Service Fix of the Week: Feels like we were just here and said we’d never do it again. Yet here we are taking the top off another vehicle. This time a Chevy Camper Astrovan; putting in a new engine due to a blown rod or two. Check out the pictures, it really did some damage. But thanks to the tireless efforts of our tech, unlike Humpty Dumpty, we did get all the pieces put back together again and the van left humming as did the owner. They were super excited to be able to get it back out into the great outdoors. Come on in and see what Clay’s Auto Service can do for you.

Clays Auto Service fix of the week: Ever wonder what an ethanol fuel will do to your system? It’s pretty much like sugar to a human body. We can’t get enough of it but it is really bad for us. It leaves a sticky residue that can gum up your intake. Fortunately in this case we were able to clean it up for our customer.

Clay’s Auto Service Fix of the Week: Need a solution for this cold weather? In parts of the country that get much colder than Oregon, and stay colder for much longer, they resort to interesting customizations such as this. Check out the three prong quad outlet attached to the frame. How is it powered you ask? Well, that’s where the plug coming out of the front grill comes in. This plugs into a wall outlet, powering the whole array with a heater strapped in. Stay warm and hopefully we don’t have temperatures in the teens for a long time.
