Happy 1st birthday to my sweet granddaughter Fern. I love you so much and can’t wait to spend many more birthdays with you.

Fern turns 9 months on Thursday. Children bring us awareness of time in a way nothing else does. She will be 9 years old before we know it. I’m going to enjoy this precious moment in time with that smile that reminds me of so many people I love. ❤️

I am home ❤️ Spending this week on a lake south of Bangor Maine, my childhood home. Seeing old friends and visiting some of my favorite places. I’ve always know how lucky I was land in this place from 7-18 years old. It shaped me in so many ways. Everyone should have a place that is home in their heart, where people will yell your name across the room when you enter. ❤️ And you get more hugs in a minute than you’ve had in a while. I’m a happy girl. Maybe not so much a girl anymore, but whose counting 😁
