If you weren't able to attend our spring Canine First Aid Clinic, here's another opportunity to learn valuable skills for your hunting partner! This local clinic is being hosted by Wilson's Veterinary Hospital. While this isn't a SEMI NAVHDA event, we wanted to pass it along for any members who may be interested.

When you're in the field, every second counts. Would you know what to do if your hunting partner was injured miles away from the nearest veterinary hospital?

Join us for our First Aid Class for Hunting Dogs on Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m. at North Macomb Sportsman's Club and gain the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency.

For $45 per person, you'll receive:

🩹 Hands-on demonstrations
👩‍⚕️ Veterinary team-led safety education
📖 A participant safety packet

Another Chukar Championship is in the books!

A little rain (okay, a lot of rain) didn’t stop us from enjoying a full day of dog work and camaraderie. A total of 23 teams competed today, and we had some very close scores.

A HUGE THANK YOU goes to our handlers, our bird planters, our judges, Casey for coordinating, and everyone who participated. You all showed up to play in the rain today, and because of that we raised more than $1000 towards a pavilion at Sod Farm. Thank you for helping us turn this into reality!
