🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

Our Highland community just got a little closer! For the first time, all Highland schools will be walking together in the Twilight Parade to celebrate unity and proudly represent the School Town of Highland as one community.

This event is open to all families who would like to participate and represent Highland. Be sure to sign up if you would like to walk in the parade with us! We are also searching for someone who would like to be the Merkley Mustang!

We have also created a community shirt that is available for purchase. The online store will close Sunday night. Please note that purchasing a shirt is not required to participate, everyone is welcome to wear Highland colors and join us.

We encourage all Highland teachers and staff to consider purchasing a shirt, even if they are not walking in the parade, as we hope to create a Highland Community Spirit Day in the future (pending all principal’s approval).

Day 4 of Staff Appreciation was a slam dunk! Yummy pizza from Danny Z's and custard from Culver's to make sundaes. Staff participated in a fun basketball partner relay and bracket. Winner winner chicken dinner for Mrs. Geffert, Miss Santiago and Mrs. Reyes. Looking forward to another fantastic day tomorrow.

Side note Mrs. Torres ventured out and picked up all the Nothing Bundt Cakes! Orders have been filled and will be ready for pick up tomorrow.

Day 3 was a home run! Biscuits n gravy from Merkley parent, Kristy V., and Fuzzyline provided some yummy salad, taters and hot dogs! Fun challenges had by all today! Check out some of the videos in the comments.
