The Corporate Thread in Highland, IN is searching for a Print Shop Assistant to work in both pre and post production for their screen printing department in North West Indiana.

We are seeking a self-starter and someone with an energetic and positive attitude that is willing to learn all aspects of the garment printing industry. Attention to quality and detail is of the utmost importance. This position requires a very motivated individual to work on a team that works together to accomplish daily tasks.

• Wage is dependent on experience
• Hours: 8:00-4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing materials for screen printing
• Double checking and counting inventory before printing
• Ink color mixing to exact specifications
• Set up printing press, setting screens in place, and adding specified inks
• Screen printing on garments
• Changeover printing press between print jobs
• Willing to clean and help in other departments during low volume occurrence

This position requires:
• Attention to detail and accuracy, especially when counting inventory
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently but as part of a team
• Adaptability and willingness to learn the job duties
• Working with ink and chemicals on a daily basis.
• Reliable transportation to Highland, IN
