Thank you so so much to National Charity League Inc., Legacy Highland Village Chapter and Marcus Marquettes for setting up a blood drive in honor of Audrey Gronberg!!!

I just didn’t realize before Audrey’s diagnosis how much blood donations are needed! Audrey would not be here today without multiple (so many) blood transfusions. Every time you donate, you are saving someone’s life! The number of blood donors in the US hit a 20 year all-time low in January- this is not ok. People need us!

Oh Happy Day!!!! Day +21

Audrey’s wbc went from .6 to 1.3 and her neutrophils went from .44 to 1.04!!!!! They won’t officially say she is engrafted until anc is over .5 for 3 days but pretty much the Dr. this morning said she was engrafted! :)). They will probably stop GCSF tomorrow and if she holds Sunday, we could go home Monday or Tuesday! Yesterday was so tough still not knowing and I felt like God was really wanting me to surrender and let my heart go to the place where I said I would love and trust him “truly no matter what” (which is downright impossible for any parent to utter/even let your mind go there). And stuck in my head was this song all night:

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.❤️

So grateful for the counts this morning- Audrey was really embarrassed at my dance party at the news:) (Full on cabbage patch and running man around the hospital room;))
