πŸš’ Being prepared starts long before the call comes in. At High Ridge Fire District, our crews work 48-hour shifts, and every shift begins with detailed truck and equipment checks to ensure everything is ready when seconds matter most. From pumps, lights, and hydraulic units to breathing apparatus and battery-powered rescue tools, every piece of equipment is inspected, tested, and logged for operational readiness.

These daily checks not only help ensure our tools function properly, but also keep our firefighters familiar with every piece of equipment on the truck so they can respond quickly and efficiently in an emergency. Preparation, training, and teamwork help us stay ready to serve our community 24/7. πŸ”₯πŸ› οΈ

If you see our crews out in the community, give us a wave or stop and say hello β€” we’re always proud to serve High Ridge and appreciate the support from our community! πŸ‘‹πŸš’

During National Police Week, we take time to honor and remember the men and women in law enforcement who put service above self every single day. This week serves as a reminder of the sacrifices officers and their families make to help keep our communities safe.

We especially remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty and thank those who continue to serve with courage, professionalism, and heart. Behind every badge is a person, a family, and a commitment to protecting others. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’™
