The custom-built oak cabinets in this kitchen were once stained brown and the walls were a sunflower yellow... a colorful yet somewhat dated space, for sure. To give the room a cleaner, sleeker and more modern look, I used grays, white, and a pop of red. The cabinets are painted with Sherwin Williams "Eider White" (SW 7014), the walls with "Anew Gray" (SW 7030), and the island with "Brainstorm Bronze" (SW 7033). Instead of a tiled backsplash behind the range, SW 6333 "Foxy" creates an eye-catching accent. A relatively easy and budget-conscious makeover!
