Hello everyone!
My name is Sydney Rogers, and I am excited to join the team! I am entering my sixth year in education, with five years of experience in elementary education. I have also had the opportunity to work in social work supporting families, as well as mentoring middle school-aged students. These experiences have helped shape my passion for building meaningful relationships and supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom.
I am passionate about helping students grow not only academically, but also as confident, responsible, and compassionate individuals. I enjoy creating a classroom environment where students feel seen, supported, challenged, and encouraged to be their best selves. My goal is to help students develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need while fostering a love for learning and a strong sense of community within the classroom.
When I am not working, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this school community and am looking forward to building relationships, learning from my colleagues, and making a positive impact on students! I am excited for what this school year has in store and cannot wait to get started!
