High Point Transit will be operating normal service on Thursday, February 5.

While main thoroughfares may be plowed, many streets on our routes are still covered with snow on top of ice.

HPTS will open very limited snow Routes at 10am on Tuesday (Feb 3). At this point, we'll start with N and S Main Street (partial routes) and try to add routes as the sun works its magic.

High Point Transit team members have assessed road conditions this morning (Saturday, Jan 31), and they are too dangerous for us to conduct services today. Both fixed route and ACCESS are closed today. Your safety and that of our team are paramount and we share your frustration.

High Point Transit will be operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow (Thursday, Jan 29) with most routes running modified "Snow Route" operations. First pullouts will be at 7:45am. Routes will return to "normal" as local streets get cleared of ice.

Our ACCESS service is trying to provide as many trips as we can, but ice on driveways and footpaths to front doors has often made the walk out to the van too dangerous.
