DID YOU KNOW?

Letting go, checking out, Relieving yourself of your own life.

People with Cancer or Alzheimer's suffering with a lot of pain or just lying in a vegetative state.

Physician-assisted su***de, legally termed "medical aid in dying" or "death with dignity," is authorised in 14 U.S. jurisdictions:

California, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawai’, iIllinois, Maine,Montana (legal via state Supreme Court ruling), New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont and, Washington.

While guidelines vary slightly, in all jurisdictions the practice requires that the patient is an adult of sound mind, a state resident, and diagnosed by two physicians with a terminal illness resulting in a prognosis of six months or less. Active euthanasia remains illegal.

For state-specific requirements, legislation tracking, and resources, you can consult 'Death With Dignity' or. 'Compassion & Choices'.

DID YOU KNOW?

You generally retain the right to informed consent for specific medical procedures under workers’ comp. However, state laws vary. When you file a claim, you implicitly waive doctor-patient confidentiality for records directly related to your workplace injury, allowing insurers access to those specific medical files.

Here are the details on how this applies to your privacy and treatment rights:

Treatment Consent: You always have the right to informed consent regarding the actual medical care you receive (e.g., surgery, injections, or medication). Doctors must still explain the risks, benefits, and alternatives before performing any procedure, and you cannot be forcibly treated.

Medical Record Limits:
Federal laws like HIPAA allow healthcare providers to share your injury-related medical information with your employer and workers' comp insurance without your explicit, separate authorisation. However, this access is strictly limited to records, diagnoses, and treatments reasonably related to the workplace injury.

Unrelated Health Data:
Your employer and the insurance company are not legally entitled to your entire, unrelated medical history without your explicit consent.

Because state-specific statutes dictate the exact rules on what medical information is deemed "relevant," it is highly beneficial to understand your local rights. You can refer to resources like the Disclosures for Workers' Compensation Purposes - HHS.gov page to understand federal rules, or consult the Your Rights to Privacy After Filing a Workers' Compensation Claim analysis for deeper context.

DID YOU KNOW?

I've just read an article of how a whale sank a coast guard vessel and I laughed.

The Ocean belongs to the Sea creatures that live there and they have lived there for over 3.5 Billion years, Modern humans (*Homo sapiens*) have been on Earth for only 300,000 years and Yet we in that short period of time have destroyed their world and way of life.

So when I read an article about a boat sank by a whale I laugh at the Captain or Pilot and crew and say good for the whale. Now if this were a Science Faction movie and Sea-Life was coming onto shore killing humans like we're killing them I still don't know who I would be rooting for, Nasty Humans or Beautiful Sea creatures.

Why do you ask?, Gee let me think.
I was born and raised in Pensacola Florida and our father taught us to respect the Ocean as if it were our home, Sure we could take from the Gulf or Ocean the food we needed to survive but not to ever put anything into the Gulf, Bays, Rivers or Oceans that would compromise their world and their way of life.

Humans discharge an estimated 1.1 million metric tons of pollutants into the oceans daily. This massive flow equates to dumping around 2,000 garbage trucks full of waste or one dump truck per second into the water. This toxic runoff consists of plastics, sewage, heavy metals, and chemicals.

Toxic Chemicals:
Up to 493,000 metric tons (180 million tonnes annually) of chemical pollutants, including lead, arsenic, and mercury, enter the marine environment each year. These chemicals—and "forever chemicals" like POPs—can bioaccumulate in marine life.

Plastics:
Over 30,000 metric tons (11 million tonnes annually) of plastic enter the oceans every day, fragmenting into toxic microplastics.

Raw Sewage:
Over 80% of the world's raw sewage is dumped directly into the oceans and rivers untreated, releasing massive amounts of human waste and harmful bacteria.

Oil:
Industrial discharge, runoff, and spills dump up to 1.9 million gallons of oil into the sea every day.

Because 80% of ocean pollution originates from land-based sources, tackling this issue involves reducing the use of single-use plastics and improving global waste management infrastructure.

I've read about humans getting into fights and killed over parking spaces, Shootings at schools, Fist Fights over a table
at a restaurant and soldiers killed in battle over Oil and land serving some politicians political agendas.

As a child I could see as far as 60 feet down into the Gulf of Mexico, Last time I was there in Florida I couldn't see more than 5 feet for the pollution dumped into our Oceans and there had not been any storms to murky the waters. The Escambia Bay was as clear of the sky, Now it look like Toilet water after someone having a bean burrito and washed it down with gin.

Look at our planet closely and see what has happen to it over the last 60 years but keep in mind that Human-induced ocean pollution has been occurring for thousands of years, with the earliest recorded dumping of waste and sewage dating back to ancient Greece and Rome. However, it wasn't until the Industrial Revolution in the 18th and 19th centuries that pollution escalated to industrial and global scales.

The evolution of human industrial and cultural practices has rapidly altered the biosphere, pushing critical planetary boundaries to the brink. Through mass deforestation, widespread pollution, and the burning of fossil fuels, humanity is driving rapid global warming and biodiversity loss. This trajectory threatens to render significant portions of the globe uninhabitable for billions of people by the end of the century.

I am guilty of helping pollute our planet on a very small scale but when you have 8.3 Billion humans doing it everyday for decades it takes a toll and the toll has to be paid because of
our ignorance.

With that said:
IT'S the Unrelenting greed of politicians and corporations that are the biggest culprits of polluting the planet
and not taking responsibility for their actions.

DID YOU KNOW?

A mother and father are standing over their sick child,
A child with cancer, The parents kneel down beside their
dying Childs hospital bed and start praying to a GOD to save
their child but the prayers go unanswered and the child dies.

At the funeral for the child everyone says at least the child is in a better place but I say not if you're the child because in truth we have no idea what comes after death, The Christian Bible says
all good children go to a place called heaven and all others go to Hell, heaven is a place of peace and comfort and hell is eternal damnation of fire, pain and suffering.

The oldest known religion is ( Animism ) dating back as far as 20,000 to 100,000 years ago, No scripture was ever written
yet still it's the Human races oldest religion until politics got involved in the game only 2,000 or so years ago for the controlling of the mass of people who were thought to be out of control, making laws through religion and harsh punishments for those who didn't abide by the laws of man and a God.

According to Christian apologetics, Bible commentaries, and evangelical study materials it took 1,500 to 1,600 years to write
the greatest stories every told which is in reference to "The King James Version" and it was a collaborative English translation produced by a team of 47 scholars and who were part of a larger group of 54 approved translators but let us go back a few steps and ask why so many people choose this deeply popular book due to its institutional backing in 1611, its majestic literary beauty, and the massive distribution efforts by Bible societies over the centuries. Despite modern translations, many continue to prefer its traditional, poetic language.

Most agree that reason people choose a religion is because they were exposed to it as children and it was all they knew but they were also told that "Santa Claus", the tooth fairy, the boogyman, witches, ghouls and goblins are real.

Forced believes:
Some people starting at a very young age were and are forced to believe in something until they submit that it's real which is known as brainwashing unlike (cognitive restructuring) which is an evidence-based therapeutic skill used to improve mental health by grounding your thinking in reality.

Now let us step back again of the history of Religion:

(Animism) which is or was 10,000 to 100,000 years old is the belief that all things—including animals, plants, rivers, mountains, weather systems, and inanimate objects—possess a spiritual.
essence or soul.

Hinduism (~4,000+ years old).
Zoroastrianism (~3,500 years old).
Judaism (~3,000 years old).
Shinto (~2,600 years old).
Jainism (~2,600 years old).
Buddhism (~2,500 years old).
Taoism (~2,500 years old).
Confucianism (~2,500 years old).
Christianity (~2,000 years old).
Islam (~1,400 years old).

Early Modern Religions (300 to 600 Years Old):
Sikhism, Candomblé and Santería.

9th-Century Religions (100 to 200 Years Old):
The Baháʼí Faith, Mormonism (The Latter Day Saint Movement),
Tenrikyo and Ahmadiyya.

20th-Century Religions & New Religious Movements (Less than 100 Years Old):
Caodaism, Rastafari, Wicca and Scientology.

Anthropologists estimate that humans have worshipped at least 18,000 different gods, goddesses, and sacred spirits since the dawn of our species. However, because countless prehistoric beliefs were never recorded, the exact number is impossible to know and some cultural estimates range much higher.

Norse mythology:
It is impossible to provide an exact number of NORSE GOD'S, but historical records often categorise up to 66 different deities and supernatural figures. The mythology primarily divides the gods into two main factions: the warlike Aesir and the fertility-focused Vanir AND JUST SO SOME OF YOU READERS KNOW, Odin, Thor and Loki were not just Marvel characters in movies and comic books they were worshiped as gods in reality, Odin, Thor, and Loki are central deities in Old Norse religion, and are worshiped today primarily by practitioners of modern Heathenry or Norse Paganism.

A lot of people say Politics has no place in religion.
But, politics and religion heavily influence one another, and their connection is constantly evolving. Politics frequently shapes religious identities, with many Americans choosing or leaving faith communities based on their political views. Conversely, religious beliefs deeply impact political stances on social and civic issues.

The Ku Klux Klan (K*K) has a long history of claiming that its white supremacist beliefs are divinely mandated. Throughout its various iterations, the organisation has frequently used religious language to justify discrimination, violence, and the creation of a strictly white, Protestant nation, Bt yet if their god made man in his image and the Klan hated the Jewish people what are they to say about Jesus Christ being the only begotten Son of God and historically lived as a Jew which the Klan hated, Maybe they were confused and really couldn't comprehend or in their mind translate what they were reading.

The beliefs for a lot of people that others pick and choose their religion they believe in to fit their particular life-style just like some are Democrats and others are Republican.

For instance:
Pastafarianism:
Worshippers bow down to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Created to protest teaching intelligent design in schools. Followers often fight for the legal right to wear colanders on their heads for driver's license photos.

Last Thursdayism:
A logical thought experiment turned "faith". It claims the universe was created last Thursday. The world was made to look billions of years old just to test your faith.

The Church of Google:
Members believe the search engine is the closest humanity will ever get to an omniscient god. It answers prayers (queries), knows everything, and is practically immortal.

Jediism:
Directly inspired by Star Wars lore. Adherents follow the "Force" as a literal energy field that binds the universe together. It has gained official recognition and tax-exempt status in multiple countries.

Dudeism:
Formally known as the Church of the Latter-Day Dude. It is inspired by the main character in the movie The Big Lebowski. It advocates for extreme relaxation, "going with the flow," and has ordained over 450,000 priests.

Cagenism:
An internet-born community that treats actor Nicolas Cage as a divine entity. Deployed across the Reddit community r/onetruegod, followers exchange sacred GIFs and elaborate, comedic creation myths centering on the actor.

Iglesia Maradoniana:
Founded in Argentina to honor the late soccer legend Diego Maradona. Thousands of fans celebrate "Christmas" on his birthday, use a revised version of the Lord’s Prayer, and count years relative to his birth.

Nuwaubian Nation:
Founded in the 1970s, this group combined black nationalism with highly surreal extraterrestrial beliefs. Doctrines claimed that women invented men through genetic engineering and that human clones live hidden across the globe.

Raëlism:
A UFO religion founded in the 1970s that teaches humanity was created by an advanced extraterrestrial race called the Elohim. The group focuses heavily on cloning, sexual liberation, and building an embassy to welcome aliens back to Earth.

No matter, the human race has and always will search out a higher power to relive the stress they face in everyday life and to relieve that stress they project their anger towards others with Hatred and Criticism whether it be because of their race, political or religious views and It will never end until the human race has becomes extinct, which will come.

When reading this article you will draw your own conclusions depending on how you were raised or brainwashed to believe
starting as a child, young adult or adult because I've seen people flip-flop back and forth between religious beliefs, political beliefs and the belief that the world is flat and by the way the world is
a oblate spheroid, Not being flat or round.

I've always believed since I was a child that treating people the same way they treat you is the right way to go but giving them the benefit of doubt depending on if they're open-minded
or just Bat-Sh*t Crazy, Most had or have that Cat-Strangler-Chicken-Killer Look in their eyes.

With that said I wish everyone believed in a loving God and cared for one another like they did in the 1960s when I was a child growing up, But me, After being forced to go to church and read The Bible and being punished physically and mentally by the adults around me for speaking my mind I knew I had to get away from these nuts.

To date:
I've not gotten involved in Politics or Religion
I don't waste my time watching sports or go to BBQ's an when someone brings up Politics or Religion I walk away because
I know they're just trying to get into a debate with me over things I have no interest in, This is why I live a happy, stress free life and the rest of the people around me are angry 90% of the time.

DID YOU KNOW?

Betsy Ross didn't make the first American flag,
Francis Hopkinson Did.
The Betsy Ross story is largely a myth,
She was a Flag Maker and thats about it.

BELOW IS THE FIRST 13 COLONIES AMERICAN FLAG
DESIGNED AND MADE BY Francis Hopkinson
His design was officially adopted by the Continental Congress
on June 14, 1777.

IT just goes to show for reasons unknown how Politics can manipulate history.

Since before 1917 American soldiers who fought
for our country end up homeless on the streets.
Do you ever ask why?

Veteran homelessness has been a documented challenge in the United States since the aftermath of the Revolutionary War, intensifying significantly after World War I (1917) and reaching its modern peak following the Vietnam War. It is a profoundly heartbreaking reality that individuals who put their lives on the line for their country return home only to face housing instability. While systemic gaps historically left many service members vulnerable, targeted federal interventions over the last two decades have successfully reduced the number of homeless veterans to the lowest levels on record.

The Historical ContextPost-WWI (1917–1930s): Returning "doughboys" faced a severe lack of transition benefits, leading to massive financial strain during the Great Depression. By 1934, an estimated quarter-million veterans were living on the streets, culminating in the famous "Bonus Army" protest march on Washington.

The Vietnam Era Shock: The crisis grew exponentially in the 1970s and 1980s. Public division over the war, combined with a lack of psychological support for severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), left an entire generation disproportionately represented in the homeless population.

Modern Conflicts: Veterans from post-9/11 conflicts (Afghanistan and Iraq) also experience homelessness, though at lower rates than their predecessors due to proactive modern screening programs.

Core Root Causes:
The intersection of military service and homelessness typically stems from several distinct, overlapping factors.

The Invisible Wounds of War:
High rates of PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and depression significantly complicate a veteran's ability to maintain a steady job or personal relationships.

Substance Use:
Self-medication for physical pain or psychological trauma frequently spirals into substance use disorders.

Difficult Skill Translation:
Skills built in combat zones do not always easily translate into the civilian job market, leading to underemployment and poverty.

Social Isolation:
Readjusting to civilian life often strips veterans of the intense,
structured camaraderie found in active duty.

American soldiers facing homelessness due to PTSD and combat injuries are supported by a robust network of federal and nonprofit initiatives. These programs provide emergency shelter, permanent housing, trauma-informed counseling, and vocational rehabilitation to help veterans transition back into civilian life.

Immediate Crisis Response National Call Center for Homeless Veterans:
A free, confidential 24/7 hotline (877-424-3838) that instantly connects veterans in crisis with trained professionals.

Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV):
Provides outreach, medical care, and referrals to contracted residential treatment centres for veterans in immediate need.

But I've known Veterans who've waited 10+ years to get help and the 100% disability they were entitled to.

I've posted this because we as a civilised society have forgotten
about the pain and suffering veterans went through and have gone through since they've come back from the battle fields
that most all were Politically motivated.

I housed one of my oldest Brothers for a little over 3 years just so he could get his 100% disability he should have gotten after coming back from the Gulf War.

He now lives in Italy still living with his war demons
but is doing much better than he was and all it took
was for me to reach out my hand and pull him in.
