The project is a serious risk to the quality of life of our communities, and I’ll always speak out, and stand up for our residents! 

I had a great time recently catching up with Senator Jack Martins - he’s always been a great asset to our community and a great example for me.

He and I discussed the importance of showing up, public service, and honest government.

He may be retiring from office, but I know he’ll always serve our community well in any capacity!

As a working dad, I see the reality of this every day. Young families are priced out of Long Island, damaging our tax base and creating brain drain for our workforce.

We need practice solution for the next generation that allow young families to keep more of their own money through tax cuts, make New York more business friendly, and create good paying jobs that provide dignity.

Together, we can make a Long Island with a future more affordable than our present.

As the cost of living on Long Island has mushroomed, so has Kelsey Stanya’s family. She has three children under age 4. And that has created a question for her family that many Long Island parents with young children ask: How can we afford to have one of us stay home full time?

The answer is not easy, Long Island stay-at-home parents say. Getting by on two incomes on Long Island these days is challenging enough. The stay-at-home math means eliminating one full-time salary while adding a baby to support. Have more children, and the calculation becomes even more of a struggle. But some families are finding ways to make it work, by sacrificing luxuries, by having the employed parent work even harder, by help from extended family and more.

Small businesses are the backbone of our communities - creating jobs, supporting families, and strengthening our local economy. I appreciated hearing directly about the challenges business owners face, from rising costs and excessive regulations to the need for a government that supports growth instead of standing in the way.
