TutorMee is an online educational network designed to link students with specialized instructors. TutorMee allows students and tutors to meet and then interact through an online virtual classroom. Tutors post their credentials, educational specialties and requested tutoring fee on our Tutor Tree, allowing students to search and find an educator that meets their criteria. Once a student and tutor come to an agreement, they then make an appointment to meet in the online virtual classroom. Within this classroom, students and tutors can visually see each other and interact. Also, students can upload documents or homework that can be corrected or explained on the virtual whiteboard, giving the student the feeling that the tutor is right there beside him.

Requirements:
• Teachers must be able to use computer for this E-Teaching Position
• Teachers must have a computer with internet access in order to teach online
o Teachers must have we**am
o Teachers must have headphones/ Microphone (usually built into laptops)
• Teacher must demonstrate computer skills because this is an online teaching position

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction
• Support and encourage students
• Administer academic diagnostic assessments
• Work directly with students across the country and around the world via online virtual class room with video conferencing

Additional Information:
• Each teaching session is documented and is automatically recorded and archived for teachers students and admin to review
• Each teacher is an independent agent
• Teacher's can set up own hourly rates as we connect you with students
• Hours are flexible
• Teachers will be able to upload documents in order to teach
• Teachers will have desktop sharing capabilities to teach special courses

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college with a focus in Education or other highly relevant field; Master's degree preferred; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrated leadership ability in an educational, social service and/or youth development settings.

• Bilingual in English and one of the languages above
• Teaching license/certificate preferred
• Prior teacher/tutoring experience
