Shell's BBQ

Prepare food to order on 2 flat top grills. Food items include: burgers, hot dogs, breakfast eggs, pancakes, grilled sandwiches and meats. Read and understand kitchen monitor. Work closely with other staff members and management. Applicant must come to Shell's to complete a paper application in order to set up an interview.

Position requires the ability to communicate thru the speaker system with customers to place their orders. Must handle charge and cash transactions for both drive-thru and call-in orders. Must be able to read and understand the kitchen monitor and assess the items which must be deep fried. Orders are prepared as ordered with no cooking ahead or holding. Must be able to lift and empty fry baskets weighing over 10 pounds when full. Responsible for stocking reach-in cooler and freezer before shift begins. Must be aware of high food quality standards and of correct cooking times to assure items are served within safe temperature zones. Must be able to work well with others.

Must be friendly and able to greet the public. Responsible for seating diners and getting their beverage selections. Able to learn to make milkshakes and other dessert items. Bus and clean tables. Prep condiments, flatware and other duties as required. Closing clean-up duties also required

Able to communicate with customers to take their orders, make drinks, handle money, organize multiple orders at one time and assist customers who pick up call-in orders at the drive-thru

Able to manage food preparation on 2 gas flat-top grills. Orders must be made to order as ordered . Varied menu includes breakfast , omelets, pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken , roast pork, country ham , ham, bologna, turkey and other menu items.
