Artist Pam Beam finished this painting recently, and I want you to enjoy it with me. Pam has driven by this barn multiple times, always intending to make it a painting, and she has done a wonderful job. I love how she has modulated the various grays of the woods behind the barn and popped the closer evergreens’ chroma, which dramatically enhances that wonderful red of the farm structures! This is another beautifully successful painting—CONGRATULATIONS!

Artist Cris Cleary placed the final strokes on this tiny, but striking painting recently. I love how she chose to feature the complimentary colors of the red/green plant, juxtaposed to the wonderfully playful background shadows. Cris’s sensitivity to subtle color shifts and values truly speaks of her understanding how to truly see. This is another beautifully painted work of art—CONGRATULATIONS!

In March, artist Debbie Haynes painted this lovely still life and I want you all to enjoy it. I love how she has crafted the background to really feature the vase and has very purposefully selected only necessary elements from the source photo. The pop of red and complimentary green adds just the proper amount of visual activity to keep our eyes moving throughout the composition—beautifully done, Debbie!
