YummmyCo, Inc. is a family-owned business that packages healthy and natural foods under the Yummmy brand. We've been in the market since 2002 and our mission is to help increase accessibility to a healthy lifestyle to our community by providing healthy and natural foods at affordable prices.

We’re looking to hire a food packaging operative that will work to help meet increasing production demands. The food packaging operative is primarily responsible for operating machinery to package Yummmy products. They are responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained while packaging product in an efficient manner and preparing products for delivery.

Set up and operate production machinery according to Yummmy’s standards
Feed raw materials into production machinery
Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles
Label products according to work order
Prepare cartons for packaging purposes and ensure that items are properly and safely packed and labeled
Drive, operate and maintain proper functioning of property vehicles such as fork lifts and pallet jacks
Inspect finished products to ensure that they conform to quality standards and isolate any non-conformed or damaged items
Communicate problems with machinery and raw and end products to the supervisor
Clean and maintain work areas and machinery

Requirements:

Basic math and analytical skills
Good understanding of quality control principles
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
Dependable, reliable and hard worker
Must know Spanish
Must be able to tolerate working in non-temperature controlled environment with very hot conditions
Experience driving and using a forklift preferred
Previous experience in food manufacturing environment preferred
Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push +50 pounds on their own, reach above head height, stand for extended periods of time, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
Detail oriented and organized
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the plant as required by production demands

Hours:

Part time: Monday - Friday, Shift: 7 am - 12 pm, or 10 am - 3 pm
Must be willing to work during certain holidays

The Grocery Sales Merchandiser primarily provides sales merchandising coverage to our retail grocery customers. They are responsible for representing Yummmy through store coverage, maintaining a strong presence of Yummmy products in store shelves, and meeting sales objectives by cultivating relationships with customers. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that enables you to work independently and have strong work ethic and excellent customer service, we want you!

Achieve sales goals for Yummmy's food portfolio through effective account management
Build relationships with store managers and key decision makers
Execute merchandising fundamentals (rotate items, organize products in shelves, hang price tags, place promotional materials)
Introduce new products and promotions
Recognize new business opportunities
Unpacks delivered goods, arranges, organizes, and displays merchandise
Support in building in-store displays
Process merchandise returns and issue credits according to company policy.
Invoice and collect monies due.
Pick up company property.
Secure company assets.
Keep management informed of area activities, stock-outs and of any significant concerns
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience in sales
Must know Spanish
Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needs dictate
Experience in food industry preferred
Hours:

7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday - Friday
Must be willing to work during holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Fourth of July and Memorial Day
Able to travel to Naples - Tampa

Pay: $10.00 per hour + commission
