ALL of this is 150% true!! Some of you who do end up sitting in my chair theres a high chace that I have prayed for you, and some I do end up telling you that I have. I love my job, and I love all my clients. Next time you come in and need prayer- we can close the door and I can pray for you. If you want a silent prayer, I got YOU 🙏🙏🙏

This chair was never just about hair for me...
even when I thought it was.
I thought I was building a business, chasing success, perfecting my craft-
but the whole time, God was positioning me for something bigger.
He gave me more than clients...
He gave me women with stories.
Women carrying heartbreak, pressure, insecurity, silence.

And somewhere between the consultation and the install, walls start to come down.
Conversations get deeper.
And what looks like a hair appointment turns into something holy.
I've seen tears fall in this chair.
I've felt the shift when heaviness lifts.
I've watched women walk in unsure of themselves and leave standing a little taller, a little lighter, a little more whole.

Because it was never just about the hair.
It's about creating a space where you're safe to be real.
Where you're reminded of your worth.
Where God can meet you exactly where you are-no pressure, no performance, just presence.
I don't take that lightly.

So yes, I'll give you the hair...
but I'm also going to pour into you, pray over you (even if it's silently),
and hold space for whatever God wants to do in that moment.
I'm just the hands.
This is HIS work. 🙏💓

One year 💗

I've been an independent stylist for ONE YEAR! It's been the best decision for myself and for my family. I have met and gained so many more new friends (clients)! I love my job, and I love making people feel beautiful.

I thank GOD everyday for my clients and for A Salon by Joni. The beautiful and wholeheartedly women I work with make work so fun. I don't even feel like I'm going to work!! They all take care of me as if I'm their own daughter.

Thank you Joni Kapavik for letting me work in your beautiful Salon. Thank you for always loving me and loving my boys. You are a blessing to us!!

I'm so thankful for everyone who pushed me to believe in myself!! Here's to another 20+ years 🥂
