Spin Top Box - Oak/Purple Heart

I'm very happy with this turn. It's all crisp, centered, and balanced. I hope you all enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Lemons into lemonade. The feathering of this small Ash crotch was too pretty to give up on. While using the Beall system, the buffing wheel grabbed the rim and pulled it out of my hands into the lathe. RPM about 2000. The small pieces flew off the others I cut off, trying to salvage this turn. I think it came out well.
Ash 1" x 5¼"
Carved rim, finished in sanding sealer and wax, then Beall buffed.
