Ashby Custom Calls

Standing over a lathe wasn’t something I can say I was looking forward to. There is still a lot of “why’s” I just can’t wrap my head around, and unanswered questions my mind can’t seem to let go of. A lot of people won’t understand it, and I’m ok with that. What used to take me a week on this size order has taken me over a month to complete and about another month just to get started bc I couldn’t bring myself to begin.
One thing I’ve learned in the last year is this. The human soul can be completely crushed, the mind disappointed, the outside skin completely battered and bruised, but it can restart. It can pick itself up and carry on. It can make a recharge and it can be serenity and peace, if you don’t lay in your own pity and expect it to just get better on its own. You will fail, and you will learn. Do them both with Grace because in the end the whole purpose wasn’t for you, and your self worth. It may have been to help someone else.
