Bridge Academy Session 4: Exploring Healthcare Careers at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital!

Our Bridge Academy students recently spent the day at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, where they gained valuable insight into the many career opportunities available in healthcare.

Students heard from professionals in Pediatric Surgery, the Emergency Department, Hospital Medicine, Nutrition Services, Nursing, and Pharmacy, learning about their career journeys and the important roles they play in patient care. They also toured the hospital and experienced firsthand how healthcare teams work together to serve children and families across the Mid-South.

The day concluded with service projects that allowed students to give back to the hospital community. Students assisted with snack, book, and comfort carts, participated in activities in the Neuro Clinic, organized supplies, and helped with crafts and games..
