Sermon: The Battlefield

Dear SHPH Church,

I hope this email finds you standing firm and alert after we kicked off the Sabotage series this past Sunday. The responses to the message as so encouraging to read! Yay God for working in the lives of your people!!

Sunday we began by exposing the enemy's playbook — how Satan redirects our attention to visible fights, starves the moisture of God's Word from our lives, and attacks our thoughts and identity. Using Genesis 3 and Ephesians 6 I reminded us that the real battlefield is within our minds and hearts, and that God has given us the full armor — truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit — so we can stand. Jesus has already won the victory; our call is not to fear or chase demons but to stand firm, pray in the Spirit, plead the blood, and walk in the authority we've been given.

This week declare your position out loud: "I belong to Christ. I am forgiven. I am adopted. I am filled with the Holy Spirit," then act on it — plead the blood over your home, remove the sinful streams and distractions, and guard what your eyes and ears feed on. Don't mistake the person in front of you for the enemy; love people but fight the spiritual schemes with truth and prayer. Buckle up, buttercup — trials are coming, but we stand unshakable in the mighty name of Jesus.
