🔥For several years, I have asserted in the mid-1990s, when Congress revised the hardship standard for immigration court hearings, their formula did not specify a requirement stricter than the old suspension of deportation rule.

🔥Good Moral Character in naturalization cases is an elusive concept. It does not mean moral perfection.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
But it can undermine an immigrant’s application for U.S. citizenship (and in some cases, even their permanent residence standing). ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Do not under-estimate the process. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Be sure to study and understand the nuances before filing your N-400 naturalization application.

🔥As the political season heats in 2024, you’ll hear more and more anti-immigrant politicians claim offspring of undocumented immigrants are not entitled to U.S. citizenship.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They’ll use mean-spirited terms like “anchor babies” to describe these children.⁣⁣
⁣⁣

⁣⁣
Worse, their efforts are aimed at hijacking the U.S. Constitution.
