Arabic fun zone

In this time of the year when you open your door you see that scary faces of pumpkins in your neighbors doors but we as Muslim we see it in a different way so in Islam ‏prophet Muhammad peace upon him loved to eat pumpkins and we all know the story of prophet Yonus when the whale swallowed him …….and the other name of it is yaqteen (يقطين) so let’s have fun in this time of the year and teach our kids more about Al- yaqteen -Let’s have fun at this time of the year and teach our children more about pumpkin in a beautiful and meaningful way that they always remember me and my kids when we go out and see pumpkin I always ask them who used to love to eat pumpkin and they race to answer that he is Muhammad, peace be upon him, then I ask them who knows a story about pumpkin in Islam and they mention the story of prophet younus peace up on him and the whale.
في هذا الوقت من العام عندما تفتح بابك ترى وجوه القرع المخيفة على أبواب جيرانك لكننا كمسلمين نراها بطريقة مختلفة في الإسلام أحب النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أكل القرع وكلنا نعرف قصة النبي يونس عليه السلام عندما ابتلعه الحوت .....وأن الاسم الآخر للقرع هو يقطين (يقطين) فلنستمتع في هذا الوقت من السنة ونعلم أطفالنا المزيد عن اليقطين بطريقة جميلة وهادفة يتذكروها دائما فأنا واولادي عندما نخرج ونرى اليقطين اسألهم دائما من كان يحب اليقطين فيتسابقون للاجابة انه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم اسألهم من يعرف قصة عن اليقطين في الاسلام فيذكرون قصة الحوت
