In my line of work, I get the opportunity to meet amazing people; those in search of continuing education or those who simply want to improve their life direction and increase their knowledge through life-saving skills of CPR and First Aid.

I have been asked, frequently, "who needs to take CPR?" My response is always, "Anyone with a heart should know how to perform CPR."

Recently, I had a former student call and tell me that, one week after the CPR class, (they) performed CPR and their father and it worked! I don't always get to hear those success stories, but they mean the world to me. Here's a fact: 80% of cardiac arrests occur at home!

Does your judgement ever get clouded? Do you sometimes find it hard to see the forest for the trees? With this Summer's fires, it was often difficult to see the mountains we have grown to love. Then, I was reminded to look up! There, straight up, were clear, blue skies. May I encourage you also to "look up" and see beyond the haze and clutter of life.
