This Kalispell hotel concept is inspired by the grandeur and legacy of the turn-of-the-century building that once defined this street corner. With pedestrian-friendly street frontage, warm materials, and layered façades, the design celebrates the charm and character of the community's historic district while bringing fresh energy to the heart of downtown.

For this family residence in California, we're making the backyard the heart of the home. A central outdoor space connects seamlessly to the main living areas through expansive glass doors, creating a private landscape for kids to play and family life to unfold naturally. Light, airy interiors and a cozy modern style keep the home feeling open yet protected – and truly easy to live in.

We joined Central Elementary School K–2 graders for Kids College, where we turned simple paper bags into houses, hotels, garages, fire stations, and everything in between.

Seeing our projects in use and then watching students learn about architecture and design is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For many students, Yellowstone Hall is their first home at Montana State University. Designed around the transition to college life, the residence is organized into ten 40-student communities that balance privacy and connection, giving first-year Bobcats a landing place that feels welcoming, social, and easy to navigate. Completed on an ambitious timeline while achieving LEED Gold certification, it’s built for belonging, helping students find community from day one.
