Helena Police Explorers

Tonight, the Helena Police Explorers started the meeting off with some PT before moving into the classroom for an important lesson on domestic violence situations. Explorers watched and discussed a video that focused on domestic violence from the perspectives of the individuals involved, helping them better understand the emotions, challenges, and real-life impacts these situations can have on families and relationships.

Discussions like these help our explorers build communication skills, awareness, and a deeper understanding of situations first responders may encounter in the community.

The Helena Police Explorers kicked off Monday night’s meeting with some tougher PT, pushing our explorers to build strength, endurance, and discipline. 💪

After putting in the work physically, we transitioned into the classroom where we began learning about domestic situations—focusing on awareness, communication, and the importance of handling these calls with professionalism and care.

Our explorers continue to grow each week, both mentally and physically, preparing themselves for the challenges of the first responder field.

This past weekend was an incredible opportunity for our Helena Police Explorers as they got to work side by side with the Fire Cadets during the concert.

It was great to see the teamwork, dedication, and professionalism from both groups while helping keep the event safe and running smoothly. Opportunities like this give our Explorers real-world experience and a chance to build strong relationships with our fellow first responders.

Today’s Helena Police Explorers meeting kicked off with some PT to get everyone moving and focused. From there, we jumped right into felony traffic stops, where our explorers worked on clear communication with suspects and strong teamwork with one another.

These scenarios are a great way to build confidence, learn proper procedures, and strengthen the skills needed in real-life situations. Proud of the effort and growth we’re seeing each week! 🚓💪
