This wedding was so much fun! We stepped back in time and enjoyed some history of The Broadwater that used to stand on these grounds.

They brought pictures, used pieces from the hotel as decorations like old banisters and stained glass. It was incredible as were these two. What a joy it was to be a part of their day!

This little vow renewal was something else…

They spent two years FaceTiming each other pretty much everyday since they never lived in the same town. Jehvon asked Emily to marry him and he flew home on leave from Korea to marry her on the day they met two years earlier.

He went back to Korea and they continued to FaceTime. Now, they finally get to live together and that stops her in her tracks knowing that she can see him at anytime during the day.

He is always by her side and his smile and laugh is much better in person! They are each others best friend and that’s what makes this special!

You see. This was more then just a vow renewal. It was a celebration of finally being together.

I’m going to tell you the truth.

I didn’t want to leave my family last night. There’s guilt for stepping away during bedtime, being tired from a day of chasing kids, leaving during the only one on one time I get with the hubby, etc.

But… I always know that I’ll rewarded. I also come back refreshed and excited. I truly love cry time with my clients. Even though, it is hard to get there sometimes.

I’ve decided it’s ok to have those feelings. That recognizing them is good, but so is moving on. I couldn’t ask for a better way to raise my kids. I get all day with them. I get to raise them.

I get to help my couples cherish and remember these moments in their life forever. The amount of times I’ve forgotten about things and happen upon a photo that brings all the memories flooding back, is a reminder of how great it is to do that for others.

What ways do you struggle, but then find the good?
