Beyond 227

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our 4th annual Beyond 227 gala. Mike Manhardt from One Strong Family graciously accepted the role of emcee for another year. Father Ed and Father Bart took the stage to share how Father Stu impacted their lives and how his legacy continues to inspire them. Allison Bell gave a heartfelt speech about the Long family, focusing on Father Stu's dad, Bill Long, and the profound impact he had on those around him. Josh Simkins was honored with the Stu It Award, and through his emotional speech, he shared his journey with epilepsy, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and faith. Matt Birk, our keynote speaker, discussed the key principles that contributed to his success as an All-Pro lineman and how these principles are also essential in his faith. The turnout was fantastic, and we're grateful for the support. Special thanks to Chilli O'Brian's, our sponsors, the servers, volunteers, and everyone who attended. We anticipate an even better event next year. Get familiar with the name Phil Daru.

Beyond 227 's work at Legendary Lodge continues. With the construction of this grotto we hope this is a great addition to the camp providing a quiet place for prayer and reflection, and hopefully enhancing everyone’s faith journey with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank the Lord for providing us the boulders, hydraulics, wisdom and safety. Everybody still has all the of limbs and digits they came with. We also want to thank Alex Kautzky with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena for the opportunity and location. Looks like the faithful's prayers for rain worked!
