Good morning everyone, I know all of us are anticipating the cold weather coming our way the rest of the week. I’m sure your pools and equipment are top of mind. A couple things before the weather hits, make sure your water level is halfway up the tile line, with the colder temps all water features will be running and need to run to prevent damage to plumbing. If for some reason we do lose power for an extended period of time (more than an hour), here is a list of steps to drain your equipment. This is for Pentair equipment but the theme is the same, get as much water out of your equipment as possible so ice will have somewhere to go.
