CITY OF HAWTHORNE, FLORIDA

City Offices will be Closed tomorrow, June 18th, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth.

Tonight the City Commission paid tribute to some exceptional individuals for their remarkable contributions and tireless efforts to the City of Hawthorne and the Hawthorne Community.

Attention City of Hawthorne Registered Voters:

Today is the final day to request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot from the Supervisor of Elections Office for the Hawthorne Election.

After today, voters can still request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot directly from the City Clerk by filling out the appropriate forms. The City Clerk will email the forms to the Supervisor of Elections Office to verify they were completed correctly. Once the forms are verified by the SOE Office, the requesting voter can pick up their ballot from the City Clerk at City Hall. All Vote-By-Mail Ballots must be returned to the City Clerk before 7:00PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
