Well Born Baby

My dauggter Alex will be home this May and available for babysitting and tutoring.

She’s working on getting on Facebook. Alex has been an au pair in Germany since August 2024 for a 4year old boy and 1 year old girl (turns 2 next week). She can speak in French, German, and Mandarin, has a car and license.

She’s tutored Math and was a peer tutor for Schoolhouse Prep/College Board/Kahn Academy. Her SAT score was above 1500 and she took 12 AP courses before graduating high school from Notre Dame. She will be attending Georgetown University this Fall.

One Case of Measles Reported in Montgomery County  

Happy birthday to a Well Born Baby Boy born Tuesday! Mama’s water broke and contractions kicked off around 2:30am. By 9am things were picking up in intensity and she arrived at the birth center 4cm dilated. The tub was the perfect choice and soon after mom was 9.5cm! She did a great job listening to and trusting her body. Her partner was along her side the entire time and they made a fabulous team! Shortly mom felt the urge to push and was so strong! Baby boy arrived earthside after about an hour of pushing and snuggled in with mama! Breastfeeding went smoothly from there and mom, dad, and baby boy all snuggled into bed and enjoyed some snacks. Congratulations to this new family and thanks to our wonderful midwife (and mama’s friend) Sarah for supporting and encouraging her on this journey!
