Our clients asked us tell the encounters we see sometimes…
In the day of a maid:
My fellow employee and I arrived at our regular’s house. Let’s keep in mind that it’s summer break and sometimes kids are home. As I try to open the door my bucket etc went crashing to the floor. Thinking of course this would happen causing a loud ruckus. That’s okay…pick it up and start turning the lights on and opening doors as my eyes are fighting to adjust to the darkness of this hallway. Well, low and behold one of the doors I open there’s someone in there (eyes still fighting the darkness) I hear a girl “who is it”. Suddenly my eyes make contact with a male figure’s eyes. At this moment I realize what I have walked into. All I can amount out is “uhhh” still trying to process this moment. He replies “I’m sorry”. I close the door. My mind clicks into what I just walked into…I start laughing so hard. They’re prob 18 ish and we all know what’s going on. I’m laughing so loud. Well, he walks out dressed and gives me this proud look. She walks out in shame head down all the way to the car. Y’all…I’m still laughing. Well, my mind not thinking goes into said room to do my job…calling my client “heyyyy buddy…so I made a loud ruckus when I came in..enough time for said children to get it together..” I’m talking and multitasking and suddenly I realized…I grabbed the wet comforter. I make a squeal of disgust. Nope, nope, nope sorry your son can clean his own room today! Suddenly he’s calling my client…she said oh he’s calling probably to see if you told me. She hangs up…he tested the water and she pretends like she doesn’t know anything. RIP to the teen whose parent makes it home tonight.
