PHASE 2: EVENING GOWN ✨ DARE TO BE DIFFERENT. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted my evening gown to make a statement… not just because it was beautiful, but because it felt unmistakably me. The original gown that inspired this design was actually red and featured a completely different bodice. What caught my eye was the stunning linear beadwork pattern that now lives on in the final design. Then came an acid yellow gown that stopped us all in our tracks. The moment I put it on, we knew that color was the color. From there, we got creative. We combined the beadwork pattern from one gown with the bold acid yellow hue of another and reimagined the entire silhouette. The original heavy silk taffeta was replaced with a flowing silk chiffon sash that ties it all together and adds the perfect touch of movement on stage. The result? A gown that feels bold, joyful, unexpected, and completely authentic to me. Dalton Purcell, @jovanifashions, and the incredible team at @dressingdreams truly outdid themselves.
