Here's the thing about Head Spas...

I genuinely LOVE that scalp care is having its moment. Scalp health has always been the foundation of everything hair-related, and it's about time people are paying attention to it!

That said, I want to share something worth knowing if you're exploring the head spa trend:

A lot of these services are built around relaxation and they're W O N D E R F U L for that. But the training behind them often focuses on pushing one or two product lines instead of how to identify and actually address scalp conditions that are causing the discomfort that you may be there to relieve.

A soothing scalp massage and a great-smelling treatment won't fix a fungal issue, or chronic inflammation, or a condition that's been building for years.

If you're just looking for a relaxing experience, a head spa can be a lovely thing. If your scalp has been bothering you, or you've been losing more hair than feels normal, that's a different conversation - and one that should be had with a properly trained professional!

It's time for a hard conversation.

I can absolutely help you get more hair back. But there are a few things I want you to know going in, so you're not disappointed or confused along the way.

Your hair at 40 is not going to look exactly like your hair at 30. That's not a failure of the process; it's just how hair ages. The follicle's ability to produce changes over time, and part of my job is helping you work with that reality instead of fighting it.

This is also a slow process. At a microscopic level I can start seeing changes two to six months into a treatment plan. You'll likely notice a visible difference somewhere between five and nine months. That timeline can move if you're willing to put in the work! Supplements, topicals, and in-studio treatments together get results faster than any one thing alone - but there are no shortcuts that skip the biology.

And while we're in the Circle of Trust - here's one more thing nobody warns you about: you're going to get fuzzy. All that new growth starts out short and fine, which can actually make your hair look more frizzy before it looks fuller.

That's a good sign! It means things are working 🌱

PMOS and stress have a complicated relationship. PMOS creates physiological stress on the body and that stress, in turn, can make PMOS symptoms worse. When you're already overwhelmed, it can genuinely feel like a loop you can't break out of.

If you're seeing excessive shedding or breakage, let's talk - because you have options!

- Topicals & DHT Blockers
- Stress Adaptogens
- Stress Management
- Exercise
- Dietary Adjustments

We'll look at YOUR specific case, factoring in your lifestyle and preferences, to find a sustainable path forward. You deserve it!

"UGH! mY hAiR!!!"

It's so easy to go there. To feel frustrated with it, betrayed by it, like it's doing something TO you. But your hair is rarely ever the problem; it's just the messenger.

Shedding, thinning, texture changes, a scalp that's suddenly reactive - these aren't signs that your hair is misbehaving. They're ways that the rest of body is trying to get your attention. Something deeper is asking to be looked at.

When you're ready, I'm here to help you hear what your hair is trying to say.
