Free concert in Hartford TONIGHT!! From 6 pm-8 pm, join us for at Butler-McCook House & Garden🎶🌇🎉‼️

This month's concert features Ghazi Omair, “I, Too, Sing America. I, Too, Am America." Inspired by a Langston Hughes poem, Ghazi Omair sets poetry and writings to music in this performance that combines spoken word, hip-hop, and jazz in commemoration of America's 250th.

Ghazi Omair is a Hip-Hop Lyricist/Poet from Hartford, CT. He has performed at venues throughout the tri-state area and focuses on the musical space between Hip-Hop and Jazz. He has worked with artists such as Matt Dwonzsyk, The Lost Tribe, Cappadonna, Self Suffice, Michael Pallas and other artists throughout New York and Connecticut. Ghazi’s last release is titled “Lavender” and can be found on all major streaming platforms. Lavender is an experimental project combining Trap, Hip-Hop and Jazz while splicing conversations of social commentary between the songs.

The Sunset Sounds Concert Series is sponsored by the Richard P. Garmany Fund at the Greater Hartford Gives Fund; the Evelyn W. Preston Memorial Trust Fund, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee; and the Ensworth Charitable Foundation, Bank of America.

This concert will take place on the terrace at the Amos Bull House, located to the rear of the Butler-McCook garden at 59 S. Prospect Street in Hartford. Parking information available at ctlandmarks.org/sunset
