Capitol Squash

After attending a presentation about how words are powerful at her school, our student, Yaretzi, brought the lesson back to her Capitol Squash teammates! Yaretzi led the team in making a poster where they shared powerful words and phrases that Capitol Squash makes them feel. Some of our favorites were, “Thoughtful”, “Strong”, “Inspiring”, and “Teaches Us”.

Capitol Squash is so grateful to our three squash interns for all their incredible work this semester! Faby, Kara, and Kitsy are all members of Trinity College’s two-time national championship winning women’s squash team and our students were so lucky to learn from the best of the best! They all were amazing coaches on court and wonderful role models off court. Despite only working with us for a short time, they each built meaningful relationships with our students. We are so excited to see what they do next!
