Community Partners in Action

💙We are so grateful to the Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center for their generosity and kindness! This weekend two teen groups on retreat gathered to pack and donate 50+ backpacks and additional items for individuals coming to our Hartford Reentry Welcome Center (HRWC), filled with basic needs. They also met and heard from Benito Lugo, a Career Navigator at HRWC, who shared his own story and work helping others.

In accepting these amazing contributions, HRWC Program Manager Danielle Morelli said: "These donations will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the participants we serve as they work toward rebuilding their lives. Having access to essential items helps remove barriers and reminds our participants that their community believes in them and supports their success.
