From the moment educators walked into Tech Expo, the connections began. The first day of featured a keynote by Susan Maynor, who urged educators to step outside their comfort zones to promote compassion and innovation in students. She shared how her fourth-grade students in Missouri organized an EPIC Tag Sale to help wildfire victims in California, thereby enhancing their understanding of natural disasters and boosting their creative confidence. “When you create things that bring you joy, purpose bubbles up,” she stated.
