Today's topic...pickling. We did four types, three shown here: Tarragon Green Beans, Traditional Pickled Beets, Spiced Cauliflower, and Fresh Cucumber Dills.

We've restarted for 2015! This week will be making some pickles after I do some shopping at the farmer's market.
Summer is almost here and we've started grilling. We made my dad's famous BBQ Ribs and a tangy Green Bean & Potato Salad. Both were delicious.

We did two American standards today. Southern Fried Chicken and potato salad (my mom's recipe). We also learned how to cut up a chicken today.
We're making cheesecake today! Oooo, baby. (Maybe we'll make a salad for a starter...)
