Our outdoor heritage, wildlife, and our natural resources are a key part of bringing people back to Pennsylvania. My legislation, SB 1313 will reduce fees for native Pennsylvanians while benefitting sportsmen, families and local economies. I'm pleased to report that it has passed the and is headed to the House for consideration.

Congratulations, again, to ALL of our 2026 Good Citizenship Award recipients! As of last night, we presented 64 such awards to students in 32 schools across the district this year.

The Good Citizenship Award is offered to schools wishing to recognize students in their culminating year of elementary, middle or high school. Award recipients are selected by teachers and administrators for their outstanding scholarship, character, service, leadership, and acceptance of responsibility – in academics, extracurricular activities, and with family.

Hearing about each of these impressive students, presenting the awards, and celebrating their accomplishments was a tremendous joy. Thanks to all of the participating schools for inviting us to be part of your meaningful ceremonies and end-of-year traditions.
