🚨 Clarion call 📢
We’re Almost There… Let’s Finish What We Started‼️
🗣️ CALL TO ACTION: Justice for Larry Hoover
We’re calling on you — our community, our voices, our power — to help bring freedom to Mr. Larry Hoover, a man who has spent the last 52 years of his life behind bars. He went in at just 22 years old. Today, he’s 74 — a senior citizen who’s spent the majority of his life in a cage, locked down for 23 hours a day.
Yes, President Trump granted him a federal pardon, but that’s only part of the story. Mr. Hoover still remains in prison due to his state sentence. Now, it’s up to Governor J.B. Pritzker and Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton to commute his state time — the final step toward true freedom.
We showed up loud yesterday, let’s keep that same energy today. ✊🏽📞
We’ve seen people commit unspeakable acts on camera — like Jason Van d**e who shot 17-year-old Laquan McDonald 16 times while he ran away from him with a knife — walk free after just 81 months. Meanwhile, Larry Hoover remains locked away with no parole, no second chance, no justice.
📞 Make the call. Demand compassion. Demand fairness. Demand freedom.

Beautifully written! ❤️
Winndye Jenkins - Hoover writes “Let Redemption Have the Final Word: Why it's Time to Free Larry Hoover” "The media continues to depict him as the figure he once was, but that portrayal is outdated and incomplete."

If you know a father who is incarcerated, formerly incarcerated who accumulated insurmountable child support debt while incarcerated, we are providing them free legal aid to over come this burden.
We know that when our returning citizens come home from prison, they come home to a debilitating surprise that their wages will be garnished due to swelling child support payments that accrued while they were incarcerated. In many cases, the amount of wages being garnished leave these fathers in a position where they can’t make an honest living and provide for their families. This can leave families separated and disjointed due to this financial uncertainty.
We are looking to help formerly incarcerated fathers get reintegrated in the free world and keep families together. This is just one step. Happy Fathers Day to all. Please follow to keep informed and share with a formerly incarcerated father who may need this.
