With the extreme temperatures impacting our area this week, Greater Harrington CDC and Power In Praise Ministries are opening its doors to serve as a Community Cooling Station.
If you or someone you know needs a safe, air-conditioned place to cool down during the hottest parts of the day, we invite you to join us!
📅 This Week Tuesday 6/30/26 - Monday 7/6/26
🕚 Open Daily: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM*
🔥 Peak heat hours are typically 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, so don’t risk staying out in the dangerous heat.
We will provide:
🥤 Cold water and light refreshments
❄️ Air-conditioned seating
💙 Friendly faces and safe, welcoming spaces
🙏 Prayer for anyone who desires it
This is FREE and open to the public. There is no registration required.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this post. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community has to face this dangerous heat alone.
*Community Cooling Station will begin after 9am Worship on Sunday (and you’re more than welcome to join us for that too! 😊)
